The Pearson Park Splash Pad project consisted of the design and development of a new children’s splash pad and water features that can provide safe and fun areas of play for the children that utilize the services of the Pearson community center and park. KME Architects was commissioned to work together with county officials to design a new attraction that would help attract residents of the community.
KME Architects’ design for the new splash pad included a variety of water features and toys to provide active areas for a wide range of children’s age groups. KME design multiple themed concept that were presented to the county commissioners to unsure the look and feel of the splash park were consistent with the overall design intended by the county. KME Architects also worked with ADA consultants to ensure all children could have a fun and fulfilling experience by providing water features that could be enjoys and operated by all children.
