T- Mobile Arena

MGM Arena (T-Mobile Arena) – Pedestrian Bridge & Exterior Plaza Escalator
Project Description:
The MGM Arena project (T-Mobile Arena) was a project in which KME Architects was able to really display our capability to not only work on a large scale project independently, but to also show our strengths and values as part of the larger project team. KME Architects, won the confidence of MGM Resorts International to be included as part of the architecture and design team. This project consisted of many individual components, KME Architects was awarded the design of the “Pedestrian Bridge” that connects the new arena to the existing New York New York Parking garage and the “Exterior Plaza Escalator” that provides direct access to the 3rd floor of the existing parking garage from the new ground level plaza.

KME Architects was given the opportunity to work independently and take ownership of these (2) components of the project. During the course of design KME was required to present our designs and solutions to the rest of the team for coordination and approval. As part of our services, KME Architects played a critical role in coordinating with other teams and their portions of the project to ensure that all the separate parts of the project would fit properly into place during construction. This project really provided an opportunity for KME Architects to display our talents and value to the project and client. The disciplines provided in this project included: Architectural, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Engineering.
